Working collaboratively toward your contentment.

My journey, both professional and personal.

Just like you, I’ve found myself in times of transition. Sometimes that transition is specific to career path and leads you down an alternate route going in the same general direction. Other times your personal values and interests evolve and that path is no longer congruent with your exciting, new direction.

For me, it was about finding new ways to be of service. And that’s where my journey began.

While working as a creative director, designer and brand strategist, I embarked on a journey to reimagine how I could broaden and deepen my service to others. I took a passion and interest in holistic health modalities and began my journey to become a classical Chinese medicine practitioner.

While studying the philosophical foundations of eastern medicine and treating patients in clinic as an intern, I realized a big part of my work as a practitioner was coaching and supporting patients on their journey toward improved health. Together we developed actionable plans so they could improve their overall wellbeing, staying encouraged along the way by meeting personal growth milestones.

These collaborative engagements reminded me of my work as a strategist, leaning on research and discovery, identifying objectives and goals, and developing a roadmap for how to meet those goals. It was these experiences that helped me realize a more structured  approach would be of benefit to patients and clients who were navigating new experiences. So, I embarked on another journey to attain more training and I completed a certification to become a coach focused on life and professional transition.

My thought: take the expertise developed over 25+ years of business and consulting success, integrate the foundations and philosophies of eastern medicine, and pair it with the practical, goal oriented nature of coaching.

It makes for a balanced, collaborative, supportive approach to helping people along their path toward contentment. Once that idea become clear, Cultivate took root; and the journey to help others through discovery and evolution began.
